This incredible beach house was Margie and John’s special project. Purchasing the home about a month before Hurricane Ike hit the Galveston coast, neither builder nor designer planned on remodeling the home. With the hurricane came the damage and the opportunity to make the house special. Margie and John were able to take a devastating situation into something beautiful by remodeling and updating the beach house that now acts as a company beach retreat. John and Greg were able to complete the construction, while Margie and Amy finished the interior. The house was completed in the spring of 2009. It has been featured in GLOSS magazine and has won an award in the 2009 ASID awards
